Supporting Culture and Youth Through Music

Last month, Fregate Island Foundation joined a wonderful concert on La Digue, organised by the Unique Foundation. The event took place on Creole Festival Day at L’Union Estate, in front of the Plantation House — a beautiful setting filled with music, colour and joy.

Children from La Digue and Praslin came together to perform songs and dances they had been preparing for months. It was unforgettable to see them so full of happiness, proudly carrying their culture through music and movement. Their energy and excitement touched everyone who was there.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Farida Camille, Chairwoman of the Unique Foundation, whose commitment and care for the children can be felt in every moment of this project. On behalf of Fregate Island Foundation, we are proud to support this wonderful initiative and to see how Creole culture continues to thrive through the next generation.
