While doing maintenance on the corals on and around ‘The Circle’, our conservationists found baby corals growing on the science table.

Coral recruitment is the process by which drifting planulae (tiny coral larvae) attach and establish themselves as members of the reef community.

This is fantastic news as it indicated that the structures support a healthy environment and with that new coral colonies.

We will keep monitoring the natural coral recruitment and hope to see a successful development.
